Siren Wednesday: Empowering Civic Engagement

Join us for an engaging and informative session designed to empower and educate community members about the importance of active civic engagement. But what exactly do we mean by civic engagement? It's the process of participating in activities that enhance a community or address social issues, encompassing both political and non-political actions.

We are thrilled to welcome Barbra Solberg, Public Policy Strategist at the Economic Alliance, along with several of her esteemed colleagues from across Iowa, to lead this insightful conversation. Together, they will explore:

• Local issues, especially those on the ballot this year
• Current open positions at the local level
• How to find credible news sources
• And, answer any of your hard-hitting questions
